Prospective Students

IIM Calcutta has one of the biggest student exchange programs in the country with around 80 students going abroad to spend one term in their chosen universities every year. Thanks to the large number of partner universities, the number of seats available always exceeds the number of applicants. Currently IIM Calcutta has 38 partner universities spread over USA, Europe and South-East Asia, with more universities being added each year. Not only does it give you a chance to study in an international university, but also exposes you to a range of diverse cultures. It is a lifetime opportunity for those seeking an international experience and making international networks.
 

Scholarships are offered by some of the partner universities to help students cover their expenses. Scholarships from embassies are also arranged for the same. Full assistance is given to the students for arranging their visa and heavy discounts are arranged for tickets and travel insurance. Special care is taken to make sure that the outgoing students are not disadvantaged in any way with regard to the major activities on campus. All this ensures that the student exchange program is one of the high points of one’s alliance with IIM Calcutta and an experience of a lifetime.
