The Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta alumnus, Mr Narasimha B Kamath, has been awarded the prestigious 2007 Emerald/European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards in the category of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, for his thesis on “Supply Chain Management of Perishable Items: Channel Dynamics And Integrated Decision Making”.

Professor Rahul Mukerjee of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM C) has been awarded the S.S. Bhatnagar Prize, 2000, for his outstanding contribution to mathematical sciences. This award, given by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, is the highest honour from the Government of India in recognition of exceptionally meritorious research in pure and applied sciences.
