Programme Overview

More than twenty-five years back when Vidyanand Jha started teaching a set of courses on creativity to different groups of participants, post graduate managers and working managers, the business landscape of the country was very different.

The country was moving from a regulated economy to more of a competition based economy. In the changed scenario, being creative in their jobs and personal lives that led to innovation based success in personal and professional lives has become more and more important to working managers. The field has also evolved leading to addition of focus to organization level innovation and design thinking along with the imperative of individual level creativity.

It is in this backdrop that we are launching a more broad based programme on Creativity with central focus on how can individuals be more creative. Unlike earlier times when creativity was expected either at the top or in more specialized functions like research and development, now creativity is required of everybody in the organization. This makes learning about how to be more creative a worthwhile endeavor.
