Ms. Nishi Vasudeva was appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, a Navaratna Oil Marketing Company which is currently ranked 260 on the Fortune Global 500 list of the Largest Corporations in the world. She has 36 years of experience in the petroleum industry and has experience in marketing, strategy, planning, and information systems.
She is the first lady to reach this position in the recorded history of a Navratna PSU. As HPCL’s CMD, she will play a major role in deciding the Hydro-Carbon, Oil & Gas scenario of India in the next few years; this will be of great importance to the national economy.
