Notice Inviting Tender (NIT)

Sealed Tenders are invited from experienced and reputed Vendors/Contractors towards Empanelment for preparing complete set of course materials including photocopying, sorting, binding (hard/spiral), cover printing etc. for PGP Office, PGPEX Office, VLMP Office, PGDBA Office, Board Office, Admissions Office etc.

The detailed Tender Documents can be obtained from the Office of the Senior Administrative Officer (Purchase), IIM Calcutta on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) (Non-refundable) by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Indian Institute Management Calcutta and payable at Kolkata. The Tender Form may also be downloaded from the Institute’s website: www.iimcal.ac.in. In such case, the cost of Tender Documents of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) by DD drawn in favour of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta must be submitted along with the bid.

The bidders having due credentials and adequate professional experience and who meet the following criteria will be considered for evaluation of empanelment for a period of two years.

  1. Copy of PAN, Trade Licence and GST Registration.
  2. Minimum 7(seven) years experience of work in providing similar services to Public Sector Companies/Govt. Departments/Research Organizations/Reputed Private Sector Companies etc. with minimum past record of product of 10 lakh copies per year in last 3 years.
  3. Annual Turn Over – Rupees Ten Lakh or above for the Financial Year 2016-17.
  4. Minimum 5 (five) Xerox machines in the name of the Firm/Vendor/Contractor.
  5. Registered Office should be located within 5 Kms. from IIMC Joka Campus to meet urgent requirement and delivery.

Interested Firms/Vendors/Contractors may put bid document, complete in all respects along with Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) amounting to Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) by DD and other requisite documents in the Tender Box kept in the Office of the Senior Administrative Officer (Purchase) located in Administrative Building, East Side (Ground floor), Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Joka, Kolkata-700104 on 24th April, 2018 by 2.00 p.m. Tender received without EMD will be rejected straightaway.

The tender will be opened on 24th April, 2018 by 2.15 p.m. in the presence of Tenderer or their authorised representative, if any. The tenders which are not supported with required documents, will be summarily rejected.

If the last date of receiving/opening of the tenders coincide with a holiday, then the next working day shall be the receiving/opening date.

IIM Calcutta reserves the right to accept/reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof or may relax the criterion as per requirement.

It will be obligatory on the part of empanelled Vendor/Contractor to execute the work as ordered by the Institute’s PGP Office, PGPEX Office, VLMP Office, PGDBA Office, Board Office, Admissions Office etc. in a short notice and thereto make delivery to them, as per their directives and to the satisfaction of the Competent Authority. The quantity of work depends upon the strength of student in each course and each section.
