Call for Papers – IIM Calcutta Finance Research Conference (IIMCFRC) 2025

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT CALCUTTA

IIM Calcutta’s Financial Research & Trading Laboratory (FRTL) invites submissions to an international conference, “IIM Calcutta Finance Research Conference (IIMCFRC) 2025”. The conference will be in hybrid mode, to be held at the IIM Calcutta, Kolkata, and virtually, on 26-28 December 2025. Established in 2008, FRTL is among India’s earliest and most comprehensive university finance labs, created to strengthen rigorous academic research. Since inception, it has sustained a vibrant scholarly community through seminars, research workshops, lecture series, conferences, and summer schools.

Building on this foundation, IIMCFRC 2025 will showcase high-quality research in finance and accounting and foster dialogue among academics, industry professionals, and policymakers. Participants will have the opportunity to present and discuss their work, engage with eminent scholars, and connect with peers across the field.

TOPIC: Papers on any topics related to finance and/or accounting will be considered.

Best Paper Award:

The best three papers will be chosen and awarded by a panel of experts. The decision of the panel will be final and binding.

IIMCFRC Special Issue: DECISION (Journal of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, published by Springer Nature)

Details regarding the special issue will be posted on the website of Decision in due course of time.

Submission Details:

Only full papers will be considered. All submissions will undergo a review process, some of the selected papers a discussant will be facilitated for a detailed feedback. Please send your complete manuscript (PDF) to conference_IIMFRC25[at]iimcal[dot]ac[dot]in.

Registration fee is non-refundable.

Accommodation:

Limited accommodation on first – come – first – served basis shall be available at IIM Calcutta campus in the Management Development Centre (MDC). Accommodation charges on a single occupancy is around Rs. 5040/- per night (including GST).
