ICQC

ICQC, the quiz club of IIMC, has been an important pillar of Joka culture for 50+ years. As one of the oldest clubs on campus, we provide a platform for all the quizzing enthusiasts on campus, and introduce the joy of quizzing to many others. We hold regular sessions, run by members, that aim to be fun, challenging and act as preparation for students to represent IIMC in the various competitions and fests happening across the country.

ICQC has always been a space where curiosity brings people together and learning happens through conversations, competition, and a shared love for knowledge. True to this spirit, we are an open and inclusive club – there are no recruitments or barriers to entry. Whether you're an experienced quizzer or simply curious, everyone is welcome to attend our sessions, participate, and even host quizzes on topics they are passionate about.

Our sessions span everything from history, geography, and economics to comics, pop culture, Bollywood, food, and culture, making quizzing as diverse as the interests of the campus itself. We also believe that the best ideas come through collaboration, and regularly work with clubs such as the Economics Club, CEMS Club, Women In Management, E-Cell, Public Policy Club, SPICMACAY, and many more to create engaging experiences for the IIM Calcutta community.

Beyond campus, we proudly send contingents to represent IIM Calcutta at competitions such as Nihilanth (Inter IIT-IIM quiz festival), Tata Crucible, Kolkata Quiz Festival, NTPC Electron, Orissa Mettle Meet, and several others, where our teams have consistently earned recognition. Our flagship event, Inmania, held every November and named after IIM Calcutta's historic telegram address, INMAN, brings together renowned quizmasters from the Kolkata circuit and participants from institutes across the country, celebrating the collaborative and ever-curious spirit that defines ICQC.
