JKFC is the official film and entertainment club of IIM Calcutta, dedicated to enriching campus life through cinema, sports, and shared experiences. More than just a movie club, JKFC creates opportunities for the campus community to connect, unwind, and celebrate together beyond the classroom.
The club operates across three core verticals:
Screenings & Events that bring stories and sporting spectacles to life through movie screenings, live broadcasts of marquee sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup, Formula 1, Cricket World Cup, and IPL, along with premieres and themed entertainment nights.
Creative Engagement that drives campus participation through original content, prediction contests, quizzes, and signature events such as the Bollywood Party, featuring a campus-wide cosplay competition where students recreate iconic Bollywood characters, and the Day in the Life of Joka competition, which captures the unique experiences and everyday moments that define life at IIM Calcutta.
Operations & Community that ensures seamless execution of events while fostering an inclusive space where students with diverse interests come together through films, sports, and storytelling.
