Programme Overview
Digital & AI-Driven Marketing (DigiAIM) from IIM Calcutta, formerly EPDSMMS is a hands-on program focused on strategy and execution, equipping participants with practical insights and actionable skills for mastering today’s AI-enhanced digital landscape. Aimed to address the rapid integration of AI into marketing, this program empowers participants to leverage cutting-edge tools and practices to transform their digital marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and deliver measurable results.The program delves into Search Engine Marketing, examining how AI is reshaping search algorithms and consumer behavior. As generative AI becomes central to how people search for information, participants will learn to adapt their strategies to this new landscape, building content that caters to both traditional search engines and AI-driven models like ChatGPT. The focus extends to creating search-friendly content that maximizes visibility and engagement in an increasingly AI-dominated ecosystem.

- The program provides a comprehensive understanding of Social Media Marketing, covering strategy, execution, and analytics.
- The Analytics part introduces advanced techniques in AI-driven data interpretation, focusing on audience segmentation, predictive modeling, and real-time performance analysis.
- AI-Driven Content and Media Generation explores practical applications of AI in creating impactful marketing materials.
- Participants will gain hands-on experience with tools to generate text, visuals, video, and audio, equipping them with the skills to drive innovation and creativity in digital marketing efforts.

- Applicants should hold a Graduate (10+2+3), Diploma (10+2+3), or Post-graduate (10+2+3) degree with at least 50% in Graduation.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience is required
- Mid and Early-Career Professionals in marketing, branding, or sales who want to build a strong foundation in digital and AI-driven marketing (DigiAIM) to advance their careers.
- Mid to Senior-Level Professionals responsible for spearheading digital marketing initiatives within their organizations, whether through in-house resources or agency partnerships, aiming to drive growth and customer acquisition with advanced strategies.

Programme Duration and Delivery
It is a 6 months programme.
Classroom Component: The online classes will be delivered through the D2D platform of Leadup Universe ( Saturdays 6:45 PM to 9:45 PM) once a week.
Campus Component: The in-campus component, covered in two visits of 6 days ( one for 3 days at the start and one for 3 days at the conclusion of the program ) in total. It is compulsory for all participants.
Pedagogy
The program is highly experiential, integrating real-world examples and proven strategies from successful firms, along with lessons from initiatives facing challenges in India. The course combines strategy, application, and in-depth discussions to equip participants with actionable skills directly relevant to the evolving digital landscape
Programme Content
Module 1: Foundations of AI-Driven Digital Marketing
Sets the conceptual and practical groundwork for the programme. Participants are introduced to how AI is reshaping the digital marketing landscape, then move directly into hands-on experience with AI-powered media generation, social media automation pipelines, and the emerging discipline of optimising for AI-driven search (AEO/GEO). By the end of this module, participants have a working mental model of the AI-enhanced marketing stack and have already built tangible artifacts using generative and automation tools.

Module 2: Search Engine Marketing & Platform Ecosystems
Deep-dives into the dominant platforms where paid and organic discovery happens — Google's advertising and commerce ecosystem, YouTube, and X. Participants learn campaign design, ad copy, merchant feed management, and video/microblogging strategies, culminating in a paid search simulation that ties keyword research, ad copy, landing page optimisation, and bidding logic into a single decision-making exercise.

Module 3: Digital Marketing Strategy, Branding & Trends
Zooms out from tactics to the strategic layer. Participants examine how marketing strategy is being rewritten by AI and digital transformation, how brands need to adapt their positioning and consumer personas, and what's genuinely new in the field versus hype. This module provides the strategic lens through which the hands-on skills from Modules 1 and 2 are interpreted.

Module 4: Content Strategy & AI-Driven Content Creation
Covers the full content lifecycle in the GenAI era — from B2B/B2B2C content marketing fundamentals and pricing strategy, through AI content tools like Writesonic (tentative), to case-driven lessons on what has worked in the market. Culminates with building custom AI applications (GPTs) for specific marketing use cases, giving participants the skills to create their own AI-powered content infrastructure.

Module 5: Social Media Analytics, Performance & Advanced Insights
The analytics-heavy core of the programme. Participants move from social media measurement and retargeting, through influencer and performance marketing, into predictive analytics, customer segmentation, and advanced CRM and personalisation. This module converts the creative and strategic work of earlier modules into measurable, optimisable, data-backed marketing operations.

Module 6: AI Infrastructure, Future Trends & Capstone
Closes the programme by addressing the infrastructure that powers enterprise-scale AI marketing(Azure setup), emerging frontiers including blockchain and future trends, and the Meta platform ecosystem. The final three sessions bring everything together — a strategic integration session followed by capstone proposals and final presentations, where participants demonstrate their ability to apply the full toolkit to a real marketing problem.

The module structure and session sequencing presented here are indicative. The order of sessions and modules may be modified as deemed fit and necessary by the Programme Directors. For instance, Capstone Project Proposals, though listed under Module 6, will typically commence much earlier in the programme to allow participants adequate time for project development, iteration, and mentorship.
Given that digital and AI-driven marketing is a highly dynamic and fluid domain, session content, tools covered, and emphasis areas may also be updated during the course of delivery to reflect the latest trends, platform changes, regulatory developments, and tooling advances in the field.

Alumni Status
- LDP participants who complete the programme successfully become the Alumni of IIMC Executive Education, which currently has over 35,000 members.
- LDP Alumni are given an email-id in the IIM Calcutta domain.
- LDP Alumni can register in the IIM Calcutta Alumni portal either with this email-id or with their personal email-ids. The IIM Calcutta Alumni portal is a common platform for Alumni of all programmes of the Institute to interact with each other and stay connected with the Institute.
- The Institute shares newsletters, important news and articles about the Institute and its activities, the achievements of the Institute's faculty, staff, students and alumni, upcoming events and programmes etc., on the portal.
- Alumni can post their achievements, write about jobs or LIVE project opportunities for other alumni to see.
- The IIM Calcutta alumni network can also be accessed on mobile phones through the mobile app.
- Executive Education Alumni are entitled to a discount of 5% on the programme fee if they opt to do another LDP.
