I am a faculty member in the Economics Group at IIM Calcutta, specializing in Macroeconomics and Macro-Finance. My research focuses on contemporary issues in macro-finance, with interests spanning Bayesian time-series econometrics, GDP nowcasting, developing DSGE models with financial frictions and banking, task-based models, geopolitical risk, and global supply chains. Recently, I have also developed a keen interest in designing and implementing agentic AI workflows to enhance and automate financial decision-making processes. I have published in reputed international journals and undertaken consultancy projects for the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
