Indifi Technologies announces the appointment of Sangram Singh as its President. The material manufacturer Covestro has chosen a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the last position to be filled on its Management Board. At its meeting on Tuesday, the Supervisory Board unanimously appointed Sucheta Govil (55) for this position. By August 1, 2019, she will take over from Dr. Markus Steilemann, who has so far continued to work as CCO on top of his role as CEO. Govil will be responsible for the three business segments Polyurethanes, Polycarbonates as well as Coatings, Adhesives, Specialties. Additionally she will assume board responsibility for the new Central Marketing, the Innovation Management & Commercial Services and the Supply Chain Centers in the three major regions.

A $413 million cheque from a consortium of investors led by Softbank Vision Fund has propelled logistics start-up Delhivery into the billion-dollar club. The valuation of the company has risen to around $1.5 billion after the latest round of funding, which also witnessed participation from existing investors Carlyle Group and Fosun International. As per regulatory filings, Delhivery received $350 million from Softbank earlier this month.

PepsiCo's India-born former CEO Indra Nooyi has joined Amazon's board of directors, the online retail giant has said.
Nooyi, who stepped down as CEO of Pepsico in October last year, is the second women of colour to be added on the Amazon's board of Directors.
Early this month, Starbucks executive Rosalind Brewer joined the Amazon Board.
"We're thrilled to have elected two new members to our Board of Directors this month. Welcome, Roz Brewer and Indra Nooyi," Amazon said in its announcement.
Nooyi would be a member of the audit committee.
She was Pepsico CEO from October 2006 to October 2018, where she also served as the Chairman of its board of directors from May 2007 to February 2019.
