Doctoral Programme

The Doctoral Programme of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta was started in 1971. It is a full-time doctoral programme that offers students opportunities for advanced studies and research in different specializations related to Management Science. The Programme aims to prepare students for careers in teaching and research in management studies and in related disciplines, and for careers in the government, in industry, and in other organizations that require advanced analytical and research capabilities.

MBA

Designed to train students to become excellent general managers and high-level-decision-makers with broad strategic vision, this full-time two year residential Programme views management as an integrated process and helps students develop a global view and respond effectively to changes in the economic, technological, cultural and political environments. Specific skills in areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, operations, and management lie at the heart of the course.

MBAEx

MBA for Executives Programme is IIM Calcutta's One Year Full Time Residential Programme meant for Executives with more than five years of professional experience. IIM Calcutta is the first management institute in the country to be Triple Crowned – to be accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, i.e., accredited by all the three major accreditation agencies in the world for management education. Only 5 other business schools in Asia and 73 business schools around the world are currently ‘Triple Accredited’.

CEMS MIM Programme

In its endeavour to become a global institution, and as a step towards achieving its vision of becoming an ‘International Centre of Excellence in Management Education’ IIMC has joined CEMS, an elite club of 30 premier business schools from across the world, as an Academic partner. Centre For Corporate Governance

Centre For Corporate Governance (CCG)

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta has set up the Centre for Corporate Governance(CCG) to create and disseminate knowledge in the area of corporate governance.

Finance Lab

The Financial Research and Trading Lab (FRTL) at IIM Calcutta was set up in November 2008 to undertake cutting edge research on financial markets using real time high frequency data from financial markets of India and around the world. In 2011, the grant from the Government of India of Rs. 20 crore helped the Lab grow into a world-class centre of excellence.

IIM Calcutta Case Research Center (IIMCCRC)

The IIM Calcutta Case Research Center (IIMCCRC) is set up to develop a repository of teaching cases and notes that can be used by Faculty of Business Schools in India and abroad.
